Back From Lake Tahoe, and Back to the Familiar

After spending some time in Lake Tahoe, we are home. Getting back to painting, after being away, is challenging , and wonderful, all at once. For that reason, I decided to paint the familiar, citrus slices. So here we are, with some old friends, the orange slices. Meanwhile, I took a million pictures of beautiful places, and feel so inspired to attempt some landscapes. So stay tuned!

Go ahead and attach those landscapes, but in the meantime, I'm going to enjoy the *pop* of those sweet oranges!

Love the composition and the layering of subtle colors in the background! Striking! You 2 take such marvelous trips. We have thought of Lake Tahoe, but don't know which side of the lake is best. Let's chat! Also can't wait to see your new landscapes. Summer is such a wonderful time to explore and relax and rejuvenate.
