Bursting Out

Yesterday, at Trader Joe's, I bought gladiolus buds. I was not sure of the exact colors, possibly purple and red. This morning they were starting to open, bright greens , bright reds, with yellow, and purple. The colors are overwhelmingly spring. It's just what I needed on a gray and rainy day!

    YUM! They ARE just the thing you need on a day like that! I love how abstract they look, but you KNOW they're glads. Nice choice of background color, too... it sets them off.
