Here are some of the paintings that were done for the " Fur, Fins, and Feathers" exhibit at The Lafayette Gallery. These are ready to be dropped off next Sunday. This was a fun project, that includes more paintings than are shown here, all very similar. I used lots of photos of Hercules, who is unwilling to pose for longer that 2 seconds. If you are in the area, please stop by and see the exhibit. It will be open, starting June 2, and ending August 1.
Fabulous! Hercules is an inspiration. As are you.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful. I could see people commissioning a group of paintings like these of their pets.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun series. Again I love your simplification of the shapes and how you caught all the personality! Great job!
ReplyDeleteNancy, I love these four! They look fabulous together.
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun!! Great compositions and they look fantastic together!!
ReplyDeleteNancy, these are awesome!!! I love them, love how well you abstracted him with color and shape and straight lines. I also loved the photo of Hercules with Brian. I love tuxedo cats, even though I haven't yet had one. Someday I plan to. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the cat pancreatitis info, I did post it because it might help someone else in the future to know.
Cheers!
