Come to the Party

One more for the sushi series. I was trying for a looser effect, by not going over the brush strokes . I think that this is something that I need to be more aware of. There's always something more to improve on! That's probably why painting is so much fun, it's a constant challenge!

wow - it DOES look like a party - and you were successful in keeping it loose, too! That's so hard, and not going over brushstrokes is really important for keeping it 'fresh', and something I struggle with!

Wow! Isn't this fun... I love the geometry of it and your beautiful loose strokes. Great color structure, too; the red pops right off the screen.

I like this one Nancy-the strokes do look fresher. I am working on that also. Like Paul McCartney wrote
"Let it Be"
