Seventeen Trees

This painting was a special request, by a thoughtful son, for his parents 50th wedding anniversary!  He specifically, asked that 17 trees, be included, to represent the 17 family members!   What a fun project!  Thrilled to have my painting, included in this happy celebration!

Summer Sun

David Hockney at LACMA

The amazing David Hockney, now on view at LACMA, 82 portraits and 1 still life. The  82 portraits, of friends and family,  and 1 still life, were started when David Hockney was 77, and took 2 to 3 days, each, to complete. I loved that DH, was so prolific, at age 77.  There is an excellent video, on the LACMA website, that includes an interview, and more photos of this exciting exhibit!

I love hearing about the sale of one, of my paintings. What I love even more, is learning more about  the collector(s).  The painting, "Togetherness", just went home with this adorable couple of newlyweds.  It is their first art purchase, and is now hanging in their brand new home! Thank you, and congratulations, to this sweet couple, and to Studio Gallery, in San Francisco!

Annual Dart for Art

The annual Dart for Art event , was this past Friday.  Dart for Art, is a very successful, and fun,  event to raise money, to help Lyme disease patients, pay for valuable treatment, that insurance will not cover. This event happens every year, and is made possible by the Lymelight Foundation. Please visit their website, to learn more about how you might be involved in next year's Dart for Art! My third year with Dart for Art, and already looking forward to next year!
