Just back from visiting the very talented, artist, and blogger, Page Railsback, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Page is lucky enough to be a part time resident, in the middle of this beautiful city.  She paints, and teaches, right here, during the winter months. The Collector

 

Good news!   I will be part of a group exhibit at The Collector,  in Berkeley.  Please come!  The exhibit will begin on March 19th.  The reception will be Friday, April 12th, 6 to 8 pm.  The location is 2950 College Ave, in Berkeley. Hope to see you there!

I just finished reading, An Object of Beauty, by Steve Martin. I love reading, especially about art related subjects.  The fun, and interesting story, is based on fictitious events in the NYC art world.

Amy, From Austin, Visits San Francisco

Amy, from Austin, TX, the talented artist, and blogger, visits San Francisco. We were lucky enough to meet  Amy, and her husband, Bob, during their recent trip to California. Leaving Puerto Rico

 

Earlier this year, we spent a few days in Puerto Rico before leaving on a cruise.  This painting was based on a photo taken from the ship as we left San Juan.  The weather on that day, was beautiful, warm, clear,and sunny skies!

Valley Art Holiday Open House

 

Valley Art Gallery is holding it's annual holiday open house this Saturday, 11 to 5. Please come by for holiday cheer! This little, 4 X 4 landscape, was donated to help raise funds for the arts education in the public schools. Donating funds to art education is something  that Valley Art does every year year, as a part of the holiday celebration. Best wishes for lots of success for this important cause!
